Man, yesterday I had a crazy meeting at work with two of the administrators and my department chaiman. Everything worked out fine in the end, but it was intense as hell. It was all about varying perceptions and stuff. After that, I had no idea how I was going to manage going into work today. God apparently took pity on me, and even though we were only suppossed to get rain last night, we got a bunch of ice. The ice caused widespread power outages, we still have power, and lots of downed trees. The end result is that we have the day off. I am in a great mood as a result. Drinking coffee and watching Arrested Development on DVD.

Happy Valentine's Day even though it's a bullsh*t fabricated holiday. Try not to spend ridiculous amounts of money of flowers and chocolate and stuff. Rent a movie and cook dinner together instead.
